ABOUT ME

My name is Frankie Gilbert, I am 24, and I am 100% Cornish! Despite having only set up this business in March 2020 (another lockdown business!), I have always had a passion for photography. I am currently living with my partner, on the outskirts of Launceston, but I have ties all across the county.

One of the reasons for my specialty being in equestrian photography is that horses have been a part of my life for over 10 years. I have worked with horses within a variety of disciplines, from eventing to horse racing, and even though I am no longer riding horses myself, I have still found a way to have them as an important aspect of my life.I have recently started working more with people and couples, and it is proving to be great fun. I love hearing peoples amazing stories, and I can’t wait to hear yours too. I hope to explore this avenue further and meet some amazing people!

I have always had a passion for the outdoors, and for sport also. I have competed across a variety of events, with rugby being my most recent venture. I love going for adventures with my partner and my dog, and really enjoy any excuse to get outside! I am incredibly lucky to live where I do, with the coast, moorland and the woods all only a short drive away and I love to explore and find new places to go, so I enjoy going to lots of different shooting locations!

In 2020, I graduated from university and my three years of hard work thankfully resulted in me recieving my BSc in Sports Coaching with a first class degree. I understand the importance of hard work, and I aim to apply this level of dedication to all aspects of my life, including my photography business.
